cardigans.

Cardigans is it just for the smart preppy kids.....nope! Is it just for girls... nope!  Anyone can do it just need to know how...

but can we just remember how cardigans were for old people.....who was the best old guy to pull one off other then your grandpa....can you say...

can we also remember when a guy does it right it can be like the most attractive thing!!!

ok so how do guys pull it off... there are to ways, to make this look trendy,

pair it when your dressed up with a nice button up and tie.

or dress it down with a t-shirt and jeans, getting the i dont really care what i look like, but just so happen to look awesome!!!

and then there is always the big bulky cardigan, that is oh so nice when its a little chilly outside.

girls...

dont be worried to splash some color with your cardigans, especially with the bright colors coming in for spring!

in the colder seasons layer up and use your cardi as one!!

Sequins.

Bling bling, who doesn't love some sequins, its a way to shimmer and shine with out the diamonds right? Well we dont want to be too intense with a whole body suit of glitter and glam, so how about everyday life when your not going to the grammies, and you want to just do a little bit of glam....try this:

sequins blazer..bam! you can use this to dress up an outfit like slacks, skirt or dress. or take a dress down outfit like a t-shirt and jeans and you look great!

or just have a little to high light the cuteness of a shirt, adding just the right amount of glitter:

and if you just love sequins like i do and cant get enough of it, be bold and wear sequins leggings oh yeah!!

add some sparkle to your life, it will be fabulous.

color-blocking.

Huge in this spring and summer! Color blocking. Kinda like a retro feel going back to big bold blocky colors. Love the look, but i also think it is a hard look to pull off. 

With this look you need to be bold, and just own it, remember the way to pull off a look is mostly being confident with what you are wearing. 

one thing you shouldn't be scared to do is put two similar colors together like pink and red or blues and greens.

or don't be afraid to put a whole bunch of colors together you wouldn't have thought matched and are all so bold and bright.

Color blocking is really coming in the season so jump on that and do it with confidence!!

heels.

being shorter i personally love high heels! but i think every girl should wear them!

but then again there are defiantly girls that have problems walking in them and then they just look silly, like a 3 year old who got into her mother's shoes. SO what should you do if you cant walk in high heels, but want to here are some suggestions...

try a wedge, they are super in this summer, and give you the extra support to walk in. you still get the great hight and the look of a high heel.

or try a thick heel, this giving you more support as you walk and giving you a bigger platform to balance on.

then you can always try a shorter heel and get comfortable with it and then work your way up.

whatever the case, you don't think you can walk in them, you think you are too tall of them, high heels should be worn, it doesn't have to be all the time, but every once in a while every girl wants to feel fabulous and slip on a pair of heels.

fur.

Fur was all the rave this fall! so how did everyone feel about it? When i think of the big mink coats, i think the little rich old ladies walking around the streets of europe. So when do you draw the line of being stylish and looking like an animal walking down the road. 

Here are some runway looks. a little overwhelming, i think i would be a little scared if i saw someone wearing some of these coats coming towards me. But i feel like where you are wearing these coats matters, i wouldn't wear something like this snowboarding or to go sledding, then again if i was going out with my friends for a night on the town or to a fashion show this would be fabulous!

let's look at a couple looks that would be good for anyone to wear not just on the runway:

She does a good job with pairing a fabulous fur coat, with a casual t-shirt and jeans making it look not over the top and can pull off an everyday look.

This look is great! She is not overwhelmed with fur all over, but just some peaking out from under a blazer. getting that fur fabulous look, with out over doing it. Also here she pairs it with a pair of simple jeans.

ok so do you want to sport the fur? i say yes! do it why not be fabulous! Just make sure you dont walk out looking like a polar bear ate you, pair the fur with casual attire like a pair of black or blue jeans.

makeup.

Have you ever wondered why some guys are going for the girls who have their makeup caked on?

I've thought about this a lot, wondering what there reaction would be if they saw that same girl with out all her makeup on. And doesn't it always seem that guys go for those girls?

I've even got an occasional, "Yeah she is super pretty, and she doesn't even wear a lot of makeup." Then I see the girl later and she has layers upon layers of makeup on.

Then I came to the conclusion that boys must not be able to tell the difference and I decided to take a poll and get to the bottom of it. Guys are always saying how they like a natural girl, that barely wears any makeup... but is it true?

When asking guys, this is what came up..... they want girls that take care of themselves and do wear a little makeup. Most boys can tell a difference. And a lot of guys have told me how they dont like it when they are getting girls' makeup all over their shirts. so girls keep it classy, dont wear so much. you know what the best thing is, the natural look is in style. You dont want a boy that is going for the cakefaces anyways. so keep it natural, highlight the parts of your face that you love.

big jewelry.

have you seen the big jewelry everyone has been wearing??? well coming in this season is big jewelry!

i'm pretty excited because if you know me i love lots of rings, big ones on all my fingers, and bracelets. why not deck on the jewelry? doesn't it say..hey i'm fabulous! so when does it become overwhelming, and how much is too much?

sometimes a awesome piece of jewelry is just what you need to take an ok outfit to and amazing one. 

If you are going to do a lot of big chunky jewelry make sure you keep your outfit simple, where plain colors and outfits with not to much craziness going on. good luck.
